About Dreambase 💭

Dreambase is the AI-native analytics platform for Supabase. We connect directly to your Supabase database and let AI agents generate dashboards, reports, and insights automatically — no data team, no pipelines, no SQL required. We are a small, fast-moving team building something genuinely new at the intersection of AI, analytics, and the Supabase ecosystem.

Your Mission

Own the craft layer of Dreambase. You will build the UI that developers and founders trust with their business data — production-quality components, smooth interactions, and an experience that feels fast, clear, and intentional at every step. You think in systems and you ship in pixels.

What you'll do

• Build Production UI — Implement the component and interaction systems that power the Dreambase product. Dashboards, reports, the Data Dictionary, the integration marketplace, onboarding — all of it needs to feel excellent.

• Prototype Fast — Turn a concept into a working prototype in hours. Validate ideas at the speed the team needs to make real decisions.

• Own the Design System — Build and maintain the component library that lets the team ship new product surfaces quickly without reinventing patterns.

• Bridge Design and Engineering — Translate design intent into production code and push engineering constraints back into design decisions. Own both sides of the conversation.

• Raise the Bar on Interactions — The transitions, the loading states, the empty states, the micro-interactions. These are not details — they are where developer trust is built or lost.

• Define the AI Interface — Help shape how humans interact with AI agents in a data product. New interaction patterns, new UI primitives, new ways of showing intelligence working on your behalf.

What we're looking for

• You are as comfortable in your code editor as you are in Figma

• You have shipped polished production UI and you know what the last 10% of quality actually takes

• Strong front-end engineering skills across TypeScript, React, CSS, and animation

• You care about craft and you notice the details that most engineers skip

• You can move fast — prototyping ideas in hours, not days

• You think in systems and build reusable, maintainable components by default

• You have taste and strong opinions about what good product feels like

Bonus points for

• Experience building data visualization or dashboard interfaces

• Familiarity with Supabase or developer-facing product design

• Experience designing for AI-native products or agentic interfaces

• Contributions to open-source UI component libraries or design systems

• Previous role at a developer tools company
